Wonderful sermon! I am reminded, as a black female, of the past, when white Europeans were invited to emigrate to America just as slavery ended. They didn’t want jobs to go to former slaves and their descendants. How did we get back here, and how do we find our way back to the democratic principles that Jesus calls for: love your neighbor as yourself.
